Delta lists a non-stop flight at 14hrs. 55 min. from ATL to ICN, and the flight from ICN to BKK at 5 hrs. 35min. http://www.delta.com/schedules/travel/reservations/flight_sched/results/index.jsp

Seoul is 14 hours ahead of Atlanta. If your flight leaves Atlanta at 11:20 AM today (Atlanta time), you would arrive at 3:10 PM tomorrow (Seoul time). So, it takes 13 hours 50 minutes to get to Seoul. On the return trip, you may leave Seoul Incheon at 10:00 AM and arrive at 10:50 AM the same day. No, it isn't only 50 minutes flight, but when you see Seoul is 14 hours ahead, that is where you get a 14 hour 50 minute flight to Atlanta. Those flight times are taken directly from my tickets on Delta/Korean Air. I've taken those trips. I would advise taking Korean Air for the USA to/from Atlanta flights if possible. They have excellent service and are Delta partners so you get Skymiles frequent flier miles. The ICN to BKK, I would suggest Thai Airways. They also have excellent service and very kind flight attendants. If you're staying a long time in Bangkok, I would suggest you travel to Chiang Mai or Koh Samui. I prefer Koh Samui over Phuket as Phuket is too touristy and often too busy. I think Gerald is right about the time of the ICN to BKK, but I've not taken that trip in about a year or so. Hope you have a wonderful trip.

Those guys above me are right. I've taken those flights a handful of times between ATL and Bangkok. It does seem very long if your are someone who doesn't sleep on planes. Bring a good book and a variety of magazines, and a full ipod. They will have movies on demand on the back of the seat in front of you, and the food is pretty decent on Korean Air. There's some nice shopping in Incheon if you have time to kill. Enjoy your trip! Thailand makes that long flight well worth it!
