did u bring ur luggage a lot? according to international rules, connecting / transferring time for flights is exactly 90 minutes. but i suggest u to take another flight that's more than 90 minutes transit/transfer/connesting time, coz who knows u might have you flight from LON ton ATL delayed and u cannot catch ur next flight to MEX. But, hopefully your prev flight will b on time. I'm afraid theres a long line in immigration custom desk... :(

You should be fine. You will arrive in the " I " terminal ( International and be funneled right into baggage claim and customs and you will depart thru the " I " terminal as well. They are pretty good and efficient so I think you have JUST enough time to even get a beverage and snack before boarding. I fly to Mexico here in a couple weeks outta my hometown of Atlanta so I'll keep an eye out for you :).

To be honest - it all depends on your time of arrival. For the most part, ATL is a pretty efficient airport - depending on the time... If you are there during their morning or evening rush hours it is going to be rough to connect. Bur for the most part it is easy. Ninety minutes is going to be rough. See if you can rebook, but if you can't, plan it well and try to make it. See if you can visit the Atlanta Airport's website and get to know the airport.

This *should* be enough but you might have to run. If you can avoid checking baggage, that will save you a few minutes--- when you land from an International flight, you need to claim your checked bags and if you are landing during a very busy time, those might take a while to get put on the claim area, and you might have a backup to re-check them. There are trains that go between the various terminals in Atlanta airport, and they arrive every 3 minutes or so, so once you clear customs you will be on your way in no time.

'Layover' isn't that mean u just change the plane to connecting flight. And if u use the same terminal maybe u doesn't need to do the passport and customs. Check with the airline again 'n if it is u may just check through baggage from London to Mexico.
