connecting flight in Atlanta, GA?
I will be flying during holiday time (early January) in family of 4 with children age 6 and 9. We'll fly from Orlando to Jakarta via Atlanta and Amsterdam. From Orlando - Atlanta we'll fly Delta, Atlanta - Amsterdam and Ams- Jakarta we'll fly KLM. From my previous trip to USA, I have to report to Custom and Border Protection Office in Airport before I leave USA, to get my passport stamped. In some airports the officers were not at the office or there were some people queing, so I had to wait for 30 min to 1 hour. I have a few things that concerns me, so my questions are: 1. Where should I report to the CBP office, in Orlando or Atlanta? ( I usually fly direct out of US without domestic connection) 2. If I have to report in Atlanta, is 1 and 1/2 hour enough for me to make the connection flight to Amsterdam? My flight is the last to Amsterdam, so if I miss this one I have to wait until the next day and will miss entire flight to Jakarta. 3. Do I need to collect my checked baggages in Atlanta and re check-in for my flight to Amsterdam? Thanks for your help

1. You shouldn't need to check in at Atlanta before leaving. Check-in at Orlando should be enough. You could also ask a flight attendant if you're not sure. 2. 1 1/2 hours in Atlanta should be enough, as long as your other flight is on time. 3. You don't need to collect your bags in Atlanta. Just make sure that in Orlando you check your bags all the way to Amsterdam. You will need to collect and re-check them in Amsterdam, so make sure you have at least two hours there.
