You can try http://www.kayak.com which will search a number of flight databases, searche ngines, airlines, etc. simultaneously and give you the lowest price available for those dates.

ok you asked the right person haha. i am guessing that these flights are one way so that is wht i am going to do. all of these are one way. delta airlines- leaving on the 15th of april it cost $1794 this is the flight to rome, or leaving on the 20th of april to rome it cost the same price so it looks as though it dosnt matter when you leave for rome it will be about the smae price. coming home on the may 1st from amsterdam it will cost you on delta airlines about $2672.

It will be cheaper to do have one round trip to/from the same places (either Atlanta to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Atlanta or Atlanta to Rome, Rome to Atlanta) and then buy a second internal flight to get you from Rome to Amsterdam or Amsterdam to Rome. You can use the first leg of the internal ticket, and then just not use the second leg of the internal ticket. I have done this many times. It's always cheaper to fly into and out of the same city. If you want to break up the flight and fly into one city, but fly out of another city, it will be much more expensive. Also for quick, internal flights within Europe, it's much cheaper to buy a round trip ticket and not use the return flight, rather than buy a one-way ticket. I would suggest buying a round trip ticket, where the return flight is at least 1 month after the departure trip - this will make it really cheap.
