Hoe long is the flight from Atlanta to Bora Bora? From Atlanta to the Maldives?
We want to take our Honeymoon to one of these places, but do not want to spend the whole trip on a plane... did anyone in Atlanta take a Honeymoon to one of these places? Where did you stay? what did you like/not like? Sorry about the misspelling in the heading

We went to the Maldives on our honeymoon and connected in Atlanta...it's atleast a 27 hour flight.

If you fly from Atlanta to Bora Bora, you'll probably have to change planes at least twice: once on the West coast (LAX or SFO), and once in Papeete, Polynesia. I would give yourself at least 13-15 hours flying time, plus however long the layovers are. It depends on how long you're planning on staying on your honeymoon, but if I were you I'd spend several days in Hawaii, and then fly onto Bora Bora for a couple of days before coming home. If it's still something you're interested in, let me know and I can send you some property information. It's kind of pricey, though. When I was there the cheapest meal was breakfast, and that was between $30-$50. I'd be happier going to somewhere in the Caribbean. It's cheaper, closer, and there are more options. Polynesia IS, indeed, very beautiful though. The friendliness of the locals is about the same between Polynesia and most islands in the Caribbean.

If you were able to get a direct flight from Atlanta to Bora Bora it would be approx. 11 Hrs 32 Min. Also a direct flight from Atlanta to Maldives would be approx. 18 Hrs 18 Min. You can get flight times for airports all over the world at https://www.jets.com/
